Our Journey to Become Parents: A Story of Hope and Heartbreak

Hello friends and family,

As we share our story, we’re opening up a vulnerable part of our lives—a journey filled with hope, loss, and an unbreakable belief that one day we’ll hold our child in our arms. My husband and I have been married for ten beautiful years, and for the past five, our dream of starting a family has been woven with both joy and unimaginable heartache.

In these five years, we’ve prayed, wished, and hoped to have a baby naturally. Six times, we felt the spark of new life—a dream growing inside me. But each time, that dream was shattered. Six times, we experienced the unimaginable pain of miscarriage. Our last two losses, happening in the second trimester, required surgery and broke us in ways that are hard to put into words. Each time, we said goodbye to a child we had already begun to love, a future we had already started to imagine.

Yet, in the midst of all this loss, we still believe. We believe that we’re meant to be parents, that God has placed this calling in our hearts for a reason. And while our faith keeps us strong, we also believe that science is one of the ways God’s miracles come to life. We have learned that four of our six babies had chromosomal abnormalities, and after many consultations, our doctors have guided us to IVF with genetic testing as the best path forward. This is our way to finally hold a healthy child in our arms, to bring into this world the life we’ve dreamed of for so long.

But IVF comes with a heavy cost, not just financially but emotionally. The stress of the financial burden is daunting, and it’s a strain that no family should have to carry when their hearts are already so fragile. We are working tirelessly to save and cover as much as we can, but we’ve come to realize that we cannot do this alone.

Any contribution, no matter the amount, would be a piece of hope added to our journey. Even sharing our story brings us closer to our dream. Every bit of support helps us hold onto the hope that one day soon, we will bring our child into this world.
